People who lose custody of their children, or lose their license, or end up in prison tend to blame it on an addiction. an often time in court they can use this as a legitimate excuse, they plead mentally ill, sane but still ill.
Is this right or wrong, in some scenarios they do win this claim but should they ever?
I think this is wrong because it is their fault they are addicted in the first place.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Dan they are the ones who started the addiction. If they never started it they would have never got that problem.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, this is wrong because the addiction should have nothing to do with the crime unless they were on that substance when they committed the crime.
